election powers
project manager + lead strategist
In early 2022, leading up to the mid-term elections in my position as Senior Digital Manager, I asked the question to our team:
“Does the average voter know who their Attorney General, Secretary of State and Governor are, and do they know the roles these positions play in their daily lives” (running elections, controlling state budgets, etc.)? Our research found that most voters do not, and usually skip those sections on their ballot. I was motivated to solve this issue, and educate voters—especially in the key battleground states of Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
I knew for the campaign to be successful the information needed to be simple and accurate, and we needed video content to help spread the information. From conception of this idea, I oversaw the materialization of non-partisan research and the condensing of that research in a way that was easily understandable and digested by the average voter. I worked to acquire and project manage external video production, digital advertising, and motion and static graphic creation teams as well as 4 internal staff members.
We utilized both organic and paid strategies on this campaign, including TikTok, Meta, Twitter, and YouTube, along with website pages and a newsletter. This nationwide civic education campaign received nearly 4 million engaged video views with a 60% watch thru rate (leaps ahead of similar campaigns in the industry). I led this project from conception to distribution, to after-action data review and it had quantifiable impacts on the electorate during the 2022 midterms.

complete website redesign + development
project manager + lead strategist
A website is the nucleus of an organization or business. A website must be easy to navigate, accessible, and encourages the user to scroll, click, download documents, purchase, etc.
One of my first goals at States United was to revise the existing website. The old website was built quickly as the organization was getting off the ground in the throws of the 2020 election cycle. In late 2021, I oversaw the search for a website design and development agency through an RFP and a rigorous interview process. Once a firm was selected I project managed the entire redesign and development process.
